Tegneskole // Drawingschool

Klubberne i Gellerup.

The drawing school of Sigrids Stue is a project for children in Gellerup and Toveshøj. We meet once a week in Sigrids UDEstue and draw together with projekt assistents and different artists who is connected to Sigrids Stue . The drawing school is for children in the age of 7-13 years and for children who wants to draw more and be inspired by drawing with others.
During spring 2018 we will furthermore be working on the project Children occupy the Urban Space. The project is carried our in a coopration with among others ‘Klubberne i Gellerup’. A part of this has been, to teach the children to use their senses to
experience the city through them, for example the children were told to experience the urban space only through hearing, and then to draw what they heard. The paintings are going to be used to make a guidet book about Gellerup, based  on the senses.
